Shubham Patidar

Mr. Shubham Patidar holds a Graduation in Fisheries Science and a Master's degree in Aquaculture. He brings over three years of expertise in the sustainable fisheries and social development sector. Previously, he worked as a Fisheries Expert Officer under the Government of Bihar, and currently works with our organization, leading the Strengthening and Promotion of Fish FPOs as a Project Manager - Fisheries Business Development. He has conducted assessments, designed development plans for FFPOs, and engaged with fish communities to promote sustainable fishing practices and further business activities like processing and procurement. His experience includes extensive groundwork, training stakeholders, and monitoring project outcomes.a

Shubham holds a Bachelor’s in Fisheries Science from NDVSU Jabalpur and a Master’s in Aquaculture from Barkatullah University Bhopal. He brings over four years of expertise in sustainable fisheries, aquaculture innovation, and social development. Previously, he served as a Fisheries Expert under the Government of Bihar, contributing to PMMSY scheme implementation, FFPO formation, and farmer training. Currently, as Project Head – Fisheries Business Development at MBCFPCL, he leads the strengthening and promotion of 142 Fish Farmer Producer Organizations under PMMSY and PM-MKSSY. His work includes conducting assessments, designing business plans and DPRs, developing marketing strategies, capacity building for BODs and managers, stakeholder engagement, and promoting environmentally friendly practices. With recognitions like the Young Scientist Award for innovations such as the Solar Oxy-Bicycle, he excels in groundwork, training, and monitoring project outcomes to drive sustainable fisheries growth.
