The CEO of MBCFPCL attended a National Workshop at NITI Aayog in New Delhi, where issues and concerns of FPOs/FPCs were discussed under the chairpersonship of Prof. Ramesh Chand, Honorable Member (Agriculture) of NITI Aayog. Also present were Dr. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, IAS MD SFAC, Shri Saji K.V., Chairman of NABARD, CGM NABARD Mumbai, and other senior officials from different State Governments. We raised key problems of #FPOs with Professor Ramesh Chand, and consensus was developed for the extension of 5 years of support to FPOs, restoration of equity matching grant benefits to old FPOs, and other forms of support such as an increase in subsidy and additional support for infrastructure development at the FPO level.”
